FP - What the hell?

I had a topic for this blog post, but somewhere in the middle of this MAJOR life change we're going through I lost it. So I'm just winging it today. :P

Routine upheaval or a major life change can play havoc with an established workout schedule, never mind the death knell it can be for a brand new commitment to fitness.

Really the only way through it is to set yourself up a schedule and don't waver from it. Treat your workout time like an important meeting with your boss, or the President, or whoever will get you to not break the appointment. Exercise can be a gods-send when in times of stress. It helps release your tension which is a priority in times like this and can even help your brain work through whatever problems you're facing.

During times of stress its important also to treat yourself well. And by that I don't mean eat a pint of ice cream. I mean schedule downtime, a massage, a night at the movies. Whatever helps you relax a little and get through the week. Sometimes even the smallest thing can be a lifesaver.

I'm taking the easy road here and opening it up to you guys. Share your tips, tricks, and suggestions for sticking with a workout through major events in life.
